I am running Windows 7 RC1 with an Intel G35 onboard video card. I set my monitor's brightness/contrast settings through Intel's software. Every time I restart the computer it resets the settings and my screen on bootup looks washed out. I know this may be due to the fact that Windows 7 is still a release candidate but has anyone else had an experience like this? Any fixes? Thanks.

Have you tried adjusting the contrast on the monitor, adjusting it in Windows will not effect what it looks like when booting, only your monitor settings can do that.

I tried it but for some reason the brightness and contrast don't seem to look right on my monitor. I'm using an HP w2207h on a DVI connection.
