Hi,

I just bought a new laptop 2 weeks ago. I'm new to Windows 7 and see there is a weird new tool. Sometimes it pops up and if you wave it around the entire screen will expand larger or retract smaller. But it only happens to the site you are on.

A couple days ago, I was on my own website and the magnifier popped up. I have no idea how, but it did. I moved my mouse around and the view got extremely small. Like font size 5 small. Extremely small.

When I browse away from my site, everything goes back to normal size. Only my site is affected on my laptop.

How do you stop that magnifier from working? And how can I get my size resolution back to normal. I tried the resolutions settings and nothing changes.

Thank you

Can we get some information on what browser you are using?

Thanks.

Hi thank you. It's firefox 3.6.3. I don't think it can be the browser though. I use firefox on my work computer and my office computer at home. The laptop is just for around the house and it's the only system with Windows 7

To make sure I understand what you're saying correctly, when you are on a web site, moving the mouse around the screen causes the size of the page to increase and decrease as if it is magnifying?

Somewhat.

It's only when I'm on my site and it's only happened twice that it happened. Since the last time though, the text and everything stayed small....real tiny. What happens is, a magnifying glass appears where my cursor is. The second I move my cursor everything either expands or contracts smaller. Everything contracted smaller text wise. But other sites nothing changes. Including this one.

Sounds like it might be a Firefox thing. Try pressing CTRL+0 and let me know if it restores to normal.

Also, do you have any addons for mouse gestures?
