Hi, I'm new to this forum and I have a problem which I hope can be answered here.

The problem is my laptop's screen resolution. I recently installed some Windows Updates, which I've decided I will never do again, and my resolution changed. It's a little wider than it should be and the text is not crystal clear like it was before the update. I only have two options in my control panel, 1024x768 and 800x600, neither of which are suitable, so I was wondering if there was any way to get more resolution options and/or fix this.

Any help is appreciated, and feel free to tell me if I've missed any necessary information. Thanks!

Hi shannonx,

I believe the correct resolution for your laptop should be 1280x800

I would head to the Packard Bell website - Support Download , I have checked and your laptop is listed on there, locate it and download the VGA driver, install it and hopefully you will be back in business.

Paul.
