Resolution setting

I have a problem that has either a simple solution or no solution. I need help,or at least advice.
I am unable to find a single resolution that will provide a good display on all websites. As a result I am adjusting it when moving from one site to another. Not difficult to do, but if I could rid myself of this chore, it would be great. Problems are wrong screen size and garbled text.
WIN 7 premium, 64 bit, using 32 bit IE9 due to the lack of a flash player that will work on 64 bit IE9. Thanks in advance

Adobe have released the 64-bit version of Flash Player.

As for your resolution problem, what is the native resolution of your monitor? I have a 23-inch HP monitor set to a default resolution of 1920 by 1080 and have no problem with any websites, not that that information helps you, of course.

Your HP W2338h is a 23" monitor which supports a native resolution of 1920 x 1080p. You can set it to a default resolution of 1920 x 1080.

IE9 has a zoom button on the bottom right of the screen. With this setting you can enlarge or shrink a website's screen to suit your comfort.
