Solved Restore Partial Personal Data

Windows 7 - I had a weird program S.M.A.R.T Data Revovery completely weird out my system yesterday. So I finally did a System Restore. Then my "libraries" were gone from under "libraries". Have tried to restore to default and all it does is make my window smaller. Found them under users. When I opened each folder huge amounts of data was gone. So I tried restoring each folder individually, and still huge amounts are gone, particularly "my pictures" and "my documents". It seems like there restoring by the amount of data that is copied, but I can't see more than a few...

Try using RECUVA to undelete your files:

Recuva - Undelete, Unerase, File and Disk Recovery - Free Download

With a little effort. do a scan for viruses,malware & trojan horses.

After much deliberation and testing, I have figured it out. The folders and their contents became hidden. Of course I now have to undhide all of them. But it is resolved so far!

Glad to see your problem solved, but you said that a huge amount of data was gone, then you said that this data was hidden. If you didn't hide those data who did -it?
So, scan your somputer for viruses,malware and others.
