I seem to have lost my sendto zip option in the sendtomenu. I have attempted the following fixes with no success.
·copied the shortcut to the send to folder under user's and it still doesn't show up ·Have tried re-register the zipfldr.dll file and that didn't do anything. ·I downloaded a registry hack to re-associate ZIP files
Download and merge the ZIP option in the tutorial below. It will restore the default associations for ZIP and CompressedFolder in case you may have then set to something else by mistake and causing it to no longer show up in the Send to context menu.
I do not know what else to suggest other than creating a new administrator account for yourself to use instead, then while in the new account copy all of the contents of the old user account's C:\Users\(user-name) folders (including hiddenAppData folder) into the corresponding new account's C:\Users\(user-name) folder. After everything checks out ok, you can delete the old user account while logged in the new user account.

Tried running SFC? I know it's not a fix-all kind of thing, but sometimes it gets lucky. Another possibility is from some other software installed that gives an option in the context menu. I remember in earlier Windows 7 days Winrar screwed up a lot of users context menus with weird results. Not a fix, but maybe something to look into.
