Hi everyone,

Sometimes I am working on several cygwin command line windows and for some reason I get them all minimized pressing win+D. Then I switch to do something else and then I press win+D to try to bring them back up, but I can't. I then have to resort on clicking each one of them. I really hate this because sometimes I do this often and I screw myself up when I have to bring like 8 back up again. Is there a command in windows 7 to bring them all up at once.

If there isn't, is there a way I can program one?

Ted

I would try this free utility:
WinSize2 moves and resizes windows

Check out the section about resizing groups of windows. I'd be surprised if there wasn't an unminimize command.

If you have to roll your own I recommend AutoIt3. It has an easy to learn Basic like syntax. Also it's made for "sit in the tray" type hotkey apps and can easily move/resize/unminimize windows by title or class.
