I have found that if you have the Firefox Advanced update setting set to this:
Firefox will create a pop-up and show it to you while you are using the browser, asking you whether you want to update immediately.
You do have the option to click on OK or Cancel. If you do click on OK Firefox will then update and try to restore you to your last known browser session.
I have also found that this feature will work
haphazardly; sometimes it will show when there is an update sometimes it won't, and sometimes it fails to restore the session. I usually cancel and update after my session.
This setting can be found in (FF26.0) at
Tools\Options\Advanced\Update Tab
Now, to the problem.
