Solved Restoring my folder icons?

Hello there,

I've tried restoring my folder icons but It doesn't work. When I click,
Restore default It doesn't work.
Problem:

What I was trying to do;

Hello Jonathan,

If you meant one of your default Desktop icons, then you could use OPTION ONE in the tutorial below to manually change them back to the default icon. The screenshots in that option are for the default icons to help.

If you are using a custom theme that modified the icons in the imageres.dll system file that contains the default icon, then you will need to run a sfc /scannow command instead. However, this will also restore all system files back to default undoing any and all modifications to them.
