Restoring Windows Update options
Hello folks
I accidently unchecked to options to receive updates for microsoft products and now the checkbox has disappered
Can someone tell me how to get the option back again?

Nope, didn't work
I dont thinks it's an error, but more of a standard procedure by Windows to remove the option after unchecking it.

As a test I did what you did and now I'm in the same boat. That entire option has disappeared along with the check box to select it again. :shock:

Found the fix.
Open Windows Update and down at the bottom you should see "Get updates for other Microsoft products" with a blue clickable "Find out more". Click the find out more link and IE should open to the Microsoft Update website. Now all you have to do is check the I agree box and click the install button. That should put the "Microsoft Update" option back in and the "Give me updates for Microsoft products..." check box should be checked too.
