Please can someone help.

My windows 7 system was in its standby mode when the power was switched off, now it wont boot up and get stuck telling me this "The last attempt to resume the system from its previous location failed. Attempt to resume again?

(use the arrow kets to highlight your choice)

Continue with system resume
Delete restoration data and proceed to system boot menu

Enter = Choose

Now it seems all pretty straight forward just make a choice and hit enter......the trouble is that he keyboard is not active in any way and i can not hit enter.

Does anyone have any tips for me please?

Hi Colin,

I assume you are using a USB-enabled keyboard?

If so, then if you are able to get into your BIOS, you need to look for a setting called something like "Legacy USB Support" and ensure it is turned ON/ENABLED. This allows the keyboard to be functional before the USB keyboard drivers are loaded in the Windows environment.

Post back here if you require further help.

Golden

Interesting I have brand new Acer Verition that will not recognize the USB Keyboard or Mouse when I boot up with an X32 boot disk. I have checked everything. Default OS when loaded was Win 7 X64 but I need to overlay with an image but cannot.
