Is there any way of retrieving individual or groups of emails deleted in error, in Windows live mail?.

Welcome to Windows Seven Forums.

Sign in to your Windows Live Mail Account.

Highlight the Deleted folder at the left of your screen.

Select the deleted messages that you want to recover.

Select the Move To option.

Choose Inbox from the drop-down list.

However, Windows Live Mail empties the deleted messages folder on a regular basis so you need to be quick.

My advice for the future is to create a new folder for important messages and store them there until you are sure you no longer need them.

Thank you both for your replies.
seavixen, followed your instructions but was a bit baffled when it turned up only two emails from September last year, in spite of deleting dozens since then, but nothing recent. Would the fact that I deleted it before reading have made any difference?.
Currently looking thru' dozens of suggestions on Google. Don't really want to buy a recovery programme, as I am only interested in recovering one!.

Try this free utility: Recuva - Download

Many of us have used it with varying degrees of success.
