Return Taskbar to Normal

Awhile ago I changed my taskbar, but I'd like to change it back to normal. Previews and all. Anyone know how? I've tried, but failed.

It looks like this atm:

You might see if one of the options in the tutorial below may be able to enable your taskbar thumbnail previews again.

Unfortunately, none of those options worked for me.

Do you have previews for any of the other taskbar icons?

If not, then you might consider a repair install that should fix this without losing anything.

Alright, I've made some progress.
I now have previews, but only if there is one window for that program. If there is more than one, it just shows the list.

Did you make any registry changes under HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Taskband? Specifically, adding a "NumThumbnails" and setting it to 1?
