RHEL and windows 7

I have got a laptop pre loaded with windows 7. I made a raw partition and installed RHEL 5 in this. But when I tried to boot, I was unable to boot from RHEL.

But I can boot into windows 7.


somebody tell me....id windows 7 support dual boot screen ??

plz help !!

Win7 doesn't provide the capability to boot other OSs -- meaning, Linux OSs.

When you install various Linux distros, they usually provide you the option of installing GRUB (Grand Unified Boot loader) or LILO. This then will provide the ability to select the Linux OS and other OSs it finds on the box.

HOW that is done is depends entirely on the Linux distro that installed the boot loader.

You will have to contact a forum that supports RHEL to find out the answer.
