Ribbon siz

I have sorted most of the problem and got the print size near enough to what I want but how do I reduce the size of the ribbon, it's enormous in comparison to the rest of the screen. I have my screen resolution set to 1600-900, is that about the norm please??

I have attached a scereen shot which I hop will let you see just how big the ribbon is.

You can minimize the ribbon so only the tabs show.
