Right click delay (user defined)

Is it possible to define a delay between the point a right click is done and Windows actually doing something about it? Preferably a hidden system setting/registry hack than some third party dll hook.

Thanks

Have you scanned your system with antivirus, malware software, have you messed with any registry settings and if so which ones?

I am using a digitizer screen. Holding down the button on my pen for right-click and sliding in a specified gesture on the screen while doing so emulates certain functions. This is achieved by a program I run in the background. With the mouse this works well, but with the screen sometimes the context menu is invoked when I begin the gesture. Thus the question if I can tell Windows to wait 500 milliseconds or so before handling the input.

Thank you, smirk, that's what I was looking for. Unfortunately it does not seem to do much in Windows 7, though, I set my MenuShowDelay time to 4000 (ten-fold of what it was), I figure this is in milliseconds, but I did not notice any difference after a reboot. The gesture behavior is unchanged, too. But it might be something with the hardware, I just wanted to explore different possible solutions. Thanks for the tip, anyways!
