Solved Right click not there any more

[Aperture]

Right next to the Start menu in the lower left hand corner I have the Windows Explorer icon.
A few weeks ago I used to be able to right click it and get all my latest used folders and some pinned ones too.
Now when I right click I only get "Windows Explorer" and "Unpin this program from taskbar".

Is there a way to get the right click options back to this icon?

No.
Right Win Explorer right clicks are turned on.
Weird.
But just in case I did download and install the "Turning On" reg edit from the link you posted.

Hello A,

It sounds like you may have Recent Items and Recent Programs turned off. Double check to make sure that they are checked and turned on. If they were off, then it may take a bit after turning them back on and opening these items before they show back up in the jump lists.

After r-clicking on the Taskbar > Taskbar Manager> Start Menu I see I have
both "Store and display........" items checked.

Is this wrong?

Do you use CCleaner? Run it recently? Perhaps this is checked?



If that was the case however, the jump lists should repopulate again.

I think the problem has been fixed.
I unpinned it and re-pinned it again.
Unfortunately I've lost all history but it'll come back.
