Right click on Executable causes windows to be unresponsive.

Hi,

I have recently installed a game and when i right click on the exe it causes windows to freeze with only the progress circle spinning around and around over and over, until i click the screen and then it just attempts and fails to restart windows, forcing me to reboot the system by resetting or holding the off button.

It's a new development and it is not a fresh install (although i hear people have this problem with clean installs of win 7) Other exe's do not re create this error and i am usually pretty technically savvy but this has me at my wit's end and I am stumped for a conclusive answer.

If anyone could help with this I would very much appreciate it.

OS- Windows 7 64bit ultimate
CPU- AMD Phenom 2 x4 Black edition 940 @ 3.4ghz
Mobo- MSI dka 790gx
GPU- 8800gs
PSU- G7 580watt
CASE- Antec 900
RAM- 4gig ddr2 Corsair @800
STORAGE- 2 x 500gig hdd's

PS: I have heard that it is to do with securom which has something to do with Sony apparently, however i have no Sony games installed to my knowledge and I have also used the program Shellexview and disabled all context menu's listed besides the windows ones, the last thing i need is for windows not to boot.

EDIT: Removed Securom using the removal tool from Sony, problem persists.
