Right click run as admin issue

Whenever I right click and select Run As Administrator, or right click on Computer and try running something as administrator, like "Manage" it opens a window for a brief second and closes. I have run a chkdsk /r, and scanned for viruses. Any ideas?

i use my own account, and it has admin privileges. why the hell to use right click? i have tried many times to run smth as usual not with the run as admin and everything was OK..

A repair install may be able to fix this for you.
