Robocopy changed only ZIP file timestamps

I used a Robocopy script to restore data files from a backup disk to my main disk, including many ZIP files having various dates. The files copied as expected, preserving their source date and time correctly, except that the ZIP files were copied and given the current date and time rather than the source file date and time. I no longer have the exact command line I used for this, but generally program Robocopy something like:

ROBOCOPY Z:\BackupFiles X:\ *.* /E /COPYAT /R:3 /V /FP /X /TS /TEE /NP

I am running Win 7 64 bit. Some time ago, I followed the instructions on your forum page "How to Disable Windows Explorer Folder View of Zip Folders in Windows 7"

This behavior suggests to me that perhaps Robocopy was interpreting the ZIP files as folders not files, and therefore was not adhering to /COPYAT. I undoubtedly did not specify /DCOPY:T.

Has this behavior been seen and can it be prevented?

Doubt it was Robocopy but rather was Explorer doing something with the ZIP files what...I don't know. I personally don't care about preserving the multiple timestamp metadata, its all unreliable.

Among other reasons why the date timestamp matters to me was that when I subsequently did online backup of my data files (and backup to external hard drives that I rotate), all the ZIP files were perceived to be newer than at the time of their earlier backup. This caused a very time consuming online recopy of these large ZIP files. Furthermore, my ZIP files are generally created with a program or script that gives them names like Acc07_20090823.ZIP, and it is jarring to find the new file dates do not correspond to the name of the file.
