Rocksmith 2014 Edition: Realtone Guitar Adapter won't go enabled

Can anyone give some advice on how I can enable it? Right-clicking on it and clicking at "enable" doesn't work. (And so does going to its properties and setting the Device usage to "Use this device")

I've also tried reinstalling the driver numerous times to no avail. Any help?

I'm a guitar player and have a recording studio.

Since this is a USB adapter, connect it and then go to the Device Manager. It will either be listed under the Sounds section or possibly in the USB section (The USB section may even show an "Unknown Device"). Wherever its at, Uninstall it in the Device Manager, then disconnect the USB cable, restart the PC. After Windows starts, connect the cable and Windows should detect the "new" hardware and install it. This may fix it.
