Rockstar games social club not connected to the interner

Please help iv,e just installed Max Payne 3 and when it comes to Rockstar games social club login I'm typing my Email and password,and it is saying/please ensure you have internet access and try again?I'm connected to the internet so I can't see a problem.Any ideas people?

Firewall perhaps?

I had this problem with gta. I went to firewall settings.
Then there's a way to add new access thing.
Click that target you folder that has the game in and find launch app add that and run it. Should all be okay then

If not, then it's probably not the firewall (if he even has one being used).

Yes mate I tried the firewall,and play as administrator and into properties It is slowly starting to wind me up.From what Iv'e read on the Rockstar forum,it is a well known problem with this game,and Rockstar social club,There is a list of god now's how many different problems.I'm beginning to think it is £37.99 down the drain.Cheers any way guys

After reinstalling about a million times nothing,so went back to Gamestation to moan,and nothing could be done the rant felt good though.I came home to try again and whamy first time installed and playing within about 10 mins.Popped back into gamestation early the following day and it was reduced to £14 from £35 makes me wonder did they no something
