Hi Guz;

More info please:

How do you connect to the Internet? Cable Modem?

Does the Router use cables to connect to the PC or is it wireless?

The Brand Name and Model Number would also help.

Yes, you can use a Router to connect PC1, PC2, PC3, PC4, and possibly more to the Internet at the same time. I do this. May I help?

Wow! Nice Router! You can connect a USB printer and share it with PC1 and PC2 also! The Router is also for Wireless, so if you had a laptop with built-in wireless, you would not need a cable for it or even be in the same room.

If you do not already have the instruction manual, you can download one in Portuguese (PG3188) here: ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Support-

Allow me time to review the Manual? OK?

OK I may be wrong about the USB printer, manual says for "flash drive". Needs more investigation.

Edit:
Oh NO! I made a mistake! I thought I was wrong!

Newegg says WL-520GU is a printer server.

OK Guz, you will need to unplug the cable from the ISP. When you do this, you will cut off Internet until it gets plugged in again, OK? Plug the cable from the ISP into the WAN on the back of the Router (WAN is "Wide Area Network" and just means Internet). Then get another cable. Plug one end into one of the 4 LAN (Local Area Network) on the back of the Router and the other end into the back of PC1 where you unplugged the first cable.

When you plug-in the power cord to the Router it should turn on. Go to PC1 and open a browser (FireFox or IE, which ever you use). Asus says the log-in screen for the router will automatically open. If it does, type in the user name: admin, and password: admin. By this time you should be connected to the Internet again.

Now ASUS does not say to do this, but you may need to turn off PC1, Router, and ISP and then turn them back on first ISP, then Router, last PC1. Do this if you do not get Internet after connecting the Router. OK?

What to do if something goes wrong: If the log-in screen for the router does not appear in your browser, type this in the URL address box: 192.168.1.1 You do not need any http or www, just the numbers. The log-in screen should now appear.

If nothing works! Oh NO! Just plug the ISP cable back into PC1. Turn off PC1, then restart the ISP (remove the power cord, wait 10 seconds, plug-in the power cord) and restart PC1. You should be right back where you are now ... no problems mate!

If you get Intetnet with the Router plugged in let me know here!!

If you have any questions about these directions, ask before unplugging the ISP, OK?
