Hello, I have a Belkin N150 router and my ISP is Xplornet I am running on a 2.5mb connection and there are two computers and one xbox in the house and my step sister usually always downloads music and movies and she does not listen when I tell her she needs to stop shes selfish,lazy and ignorant and I need a way to stop this without her knowing and I am asking for your help. 2.5 is not a lot to work with and my mom who lives in Ontario pays for this service she has simply no right to do this, and its bad.

Well that wouldn't do any good anyway since you are Canada.


What application is she using for her downloading? There should be a way to throttle both the up an down speeds leaving you some bandwidth.

I am not certain, I know the website but it would be good if I could block that.

Get one of those hardware firewall devices, they are also sold as PArental control devices, you can block sites on it. That way whatever PC she uses and whoever she is loigged in on won't be able to access it.
