I have a Wireless G Router. I now got a new Wireless N router.

Heres my question...when I installed my G router to begin with it put my Router Login, and Router info onto my desktop as an icon picture below.

If I install my new Wireless N router what will happen to my G login stuff will it overwrite with N or what? Assuming that N will make the same icons to my desktop.

Thanks:D

Only reason you should care is if you are going to run both. N will insatll something but I doubt it will overwrite the icon. the settings maybe.

At times the setup software install things at times... such as a one click connect or pc based admin panel so you do not have to connect to the router via web interface.

Oh right. Cant say I've ever used something like that. Seems like bloatware.
I've always just used the browser for my home routers...

I like Netgear. What stuff it installs is Router setup gives you your router information and Router login you don't have to waste time finding the website to manage your settings router login you click it and type password and username in and there's your settings. I actually find it very convenient.
