Run as Admin only if done myself

Morning,
I have a programme which even though in its settings i see run as admin nothing runs.
If i manually right click select run as admin then fine no problem.

Next day when i switch pc on i need to do same thing again.

Hi,
I have done that but no joy.
On the compatibility page it shows run as admin,has the tick but greyed out ?
I followed the instructions anyway,restarted pc but nothing.
I see the icon,right click & run as admin then its fine or if i click icon then select its also fine.
Just need it to do it by itself.

Looking in uac i think it was i seen accounts and all had amin rights mentioned below them.

Some program executables have the run as admin hard coded and will not allow the user to unset the tick

If the prompts are really annoying you can totally disable the UAC system (just drag the slider to it's bottom position) however this will severely compromise the windows system security and you could allow a virus or other malware full access to all of your system and files including personal data and financial information.

Setting the level of the UAC to one below top should make things usable but still secure

One little trick I learned several years ago.....

If you can't tell a program itself to run as admin, make a shortcut to that program and in the properties of the shortcut, tell it to "Run as Administrator". That locks it in, and you won't have to keep fussing with the .exe file itself.

UAC on a personal PC? I turn it OFF. Then you don't have to be bugged every time you want to do something with your own PC.

Techno i have a shortcut on the desktop and within its properties there is a tick in run as admin.
