Running 64 bit on Windows 7

Hi i have been using 32 bit system for quite a while and since i wanna formate my pc right now i wanna try the 64 bit system the system says that my cpu is compatible with 64 bit means that i can run it but i don't know if my pc will run slower after installing a 64 bit system because i have always been a 32 bit user

I wouldn't bother unless you were planning on increasing your RAM. With only 2 GB RAM, you don't really gain anything from a 64-bit system. I don't know that your system would run slower (others here might know), but I don't think you'd notice any difference anyway.
