Running a security scan it says whenever I dl stuff off the internet.

I'm running win 7 x64 just recently updated to IE 9 and by the way I'm also running MS scurity essecitals, it was not doing this when I had IE 8. My question is I don't want my files I dl to be scanned. I went into MSE realtime protection setting and unticked scan all dl's but it's still doing it. How do I disable it ? thanks

You cant. Security is built into the download manager and the download manager cant be disabled. Its not dependent on your antivirus.
