running sims 1 complete collection on windows 7

hi ive just bought a game for the kids which we used to have on our pc, the sims complete collection. when trying to install the game it gets to 95% then an error message comes up.

ive read the back on the case and under OS it says window 98/2000/XP which i didnt think to check first.

is there anyway to run this game on windows 7.

Compatibility mode maybe?

EDIT: You can run the setup in compatibility mode too.
