I have an Nvidia 9800GT with S-video out, Windows 7 Home Premium, a working S-video cable and a Digistar TV with S-video in. The S-video cable is plugged into the S-video out on my gpu and s-video in on my tv. In Windows 7's display options, my S-video setup is not detected, nor is it in Nvidia control panel, even when I force TV detection on startup. I can get the S-video setup to work perfectly when I unplug my monitor, leave S-video setup in and go through my bios or windows 7 safe mode. When I start normal windows 7 mode, my TV goes blank. What do I do to get S-video working in normal windows mode?

Yikes!

Have you checked your drivers and made sure your hardware is all compatible?

Actually, I had an interesting way of installing windows because I was going from vista 32 to Win7 64. I partitioned my drive, installed windows 7 on second partition, and once I had everything I needed on the windows 7 patition, ditched the vista partition.
