Solved S/W for PC Audio?

I seek a PC dsp software that affects all pc audio output. Specifically, it should contain equalizer, echo and reverb. Granted many PC media players have these, I prefer to have a single PC-wide app and thereby have this capability for games and other apps that have no audio-tweaking.

Freeware suggestions are violently encouraged and direct/personal experience suggestions will be honored with a first-born sacrifice simulation to show my personal appreciation.

Hi Mourning Star, why not use the Realtek HD audio manager? There is an Equaliser in the Digital Output. And the preset EQ can be changed to a graphic EQ.

Take a look at the Peace equaliser, it can take a little bit of work to get to know but provides a complete system wide set-up that can be set to adjust depending on the audio source and or output

It does need a base EQ system, Equalizer APO, which is linked to in the sourceforge page and is also free and open source

I am happy to report that every suggestion has met all expectations and then some! The Peace Equalizer is an amazing and impressive piece of code, at least from my techno-deficit POV. For you arm-chair sound engineers it is one great toy. The PC Equalizer has fewer bells & whistles but is still viable for total-PC audio shaping. Both do require the Equalizer APO base (yet another awesome bit of programming - home theater geeks should for sure look into this). My already on-board, factory stock-equipment, RealTek HD Audio Manager more than meets my current needs. It's been tucked away somewhere in my machine all these years. However, I will continue to play around with those sourceforge toys. One can never have too many toys ...
