Safe mode problem

Can anyone tell me how enter to safe mode? Because i keep pressing f8 but only i enter boot menu. But not safe mode

Ok i found safe mode but now i have another problem, my pc is still very laggy. I cant do anything. Even to save some fails in another hard drive. Because i want to reinstal windows

APCY where/how you found safe mode button?
Is f8 or f5?
