Same font issue, multiple browsers

I use Windows 7 64 at work and generally use Chrome, but sometimes Firefox.

I noticed last week in Chrome that certain text across multiple websites seemed formatted incorrectly. It looks like Arial Bold Italic. I first checked my settings to make sure it wasn't set as a default font for some reason (although I always have browsers set to allow the website to choose) and it was not. Today I notice that the same thing is happening in Firefox! Again, the settings are fine. Any ideas?

This seems to be a Windows issue since it is across multiple browsers, but I really have no idea.

Thanks for any help!

Looks like it was a problem with Helvetica as mentioned in the other thread. I had just installed it the other day.

Thanks a lot for pointing me in the right direction!
