Hi,

I have a problem with my printer. While I was printing out some papers a few days ago, the red light went on and the device stopped working. I thought the problem was with cartridge, so I refilled it. Even so, the printer couldn't recognize it and keeps showing red light. I have read some info in internet and some people claim it is a matter of the page counter which should be reseted(as they say, Samsung has arranged printer to stop working as the page counter reaches a particular limit so that we replace toner cartridge). Then, I came across some instructions how to do that, which include the process of updating firmware. I followed instructions, but the updating process is taking too long(as it was written in the instructions, I should by no means turn the printer off while the orange light is blinking, but it just won't stop). What do you suggest I should do?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

It is toner LED.

I have already read that, but they say the toner is dead and needs to be replaced while the problem can be solved just by reseting the page counter. The problem is I do not know how to do that.
