i'm trying the way the step update driver already.. But problem still not solve.. cause windows 7 view my graphic card as vision tek radeon hd 2600 xt agp.. im trying many time the update driver. but still the same.. it not problem?? if the graphic card name not same??

Download the Full Suite Catalyst from here, version 9.10.
Drivers & Support | GAME.AMD.COM

Run it and let it extract to C:\ATI

After you do that, let me know. I'll upload a custom .inf for you to replace within c:\ATI so you can install manually.

Delete that C:\ATI you have now.

Use this. Extract it to C:\ATI

Update the driver by going to device manager, right click card, update driver, browse, let me pick, have disk, browse.

Now find CL_83742.inf in C:\ATI\Support\9-10_vista32_win7_32_dd_ccc_wdm_enu\Driver\Packages\Drivers\Display\W7_INF

If it complains that it's unsigned, install anyway. Reboot. Choose an Aero theme by right clicking desktop, personalize.

Run setup.exe in C:\ATI\Support\9-10_vista32_win7_32_dd_ccc_wdm_enu\Driver

to get CCC installed.

Don't know. Post your hardware id of your card and I'll tell you for sure what you have.

Is the driver loaded and running? Do you have Aero?

Ya, unsure why it's saying that for you. The 9596 is for 3650.

You should contact Visiontek through their tech support services if you want an answer regarding model discrepancies. They will be able to answer you.

Would there be any chance of you doing this for a socket a fiend (me!) running a HD3650 agp in a Biostar Ideq under XP Pro? The ATI hotfix makes this card install as a Visiontek 2600XT so I suppose it's not using it to it's full potential
