hello dear friends
i got a toshiba laptop 8 months ago and switched on my hard drive lock.
my board got fried that day and i picked up the hard drive today and
inserted it in to an acer computer and it displayed the message 'sata port 0 toshiba mq01abf050 lock'
i cand remember my password. i need help bypassing this security

Firstly we are common users who like to share knowledge and to share information, we are not your friends but just forum members.
I hope you learnt the lesson and won't lock the drive anymore.
And you might need to forget about it and buy another drive, unless you got sensitive data so you need to employ a specialized company, but that would cost a lot of money.
