I requested 1 additional TV hook up with a standard DVD from DirecTV (the only game in town). We already have 2 TVs hooked up and they work fine, local channels included. The installer is here and he brought a HD DVR and is now changing out the antenna to a HD receiver. The service rep says this is necessary in order to get local channels.
What.......????? We get local channels already. They assure me that there will be no additional charges....well, that will be a wait and see.:sarc:
Can some one explain to me why the upgrade is necessary? Because if what they are telling me is correct it would seem that the other 2 DVRs should be upgraded as well. I am confused.
