Save History But Delete Other Temp Files

A few time each week I remember opening a web page that looked interesting but that I failed to take notes about. I find searching my browsing history is often faster and more effective than trying to vonstruct or 'reconstruct' a search strategy. I don't want to deliberately delete my browsing history, but I'd like to get rid of other useless files. Is there a tool for this?

I just logged my OS/Programs drive with ZTree, reverse order sorted, and found over 1000 files containing 0 bytes. The first 55 were all in Chrome directories and I use SeaMonkey as my default browser.
