I am getting the attached error message - it seems to be when I need to amend files or when I am saving from Webmail. The thing is that I have not previously had this problem until I loaded Office 2007 yesterday - any ideas on how to fix it?

Cheers

Hi,

It appears that you do not have permissions to save a document (write) to that location. Is this a work PC? If so, ask your IT administrator to setup the appropriate permissions.

Post back here if you need more help.

I am having a similar issue. It happens in any program where I may need to save something. Even in Firefox, if I'm downloading a file, a lot of times I'll get an error saying "You don't have permission to modify files in this network location, contact your system administrator." I simply click "save" again and it lets me save.. But I'm not sure why this is happening in the first place.. It only started a few weeks ago and happens frequently enough to be a real concern. I am operating my own PC, logged in on an Admin account and don't have a local network/workgroup set up. Any ideas?

If you have not already done so, it might help if you download and install Office 2007 Service packs 1 and 2:

Serious question: why are you attaching a DOCX file? You are limiting the potention responses by locking out those who do not/will not have software that allows viewing DOCX format files.
