Hi,

i'm a bit confused. I have a trayless HDD mobile rack (like this: http://www.raidsonic.de/en/pages/products/mobile-racks.php?we_objectID=4343), on Vista when i put in a Disk, it will be displayed in the "save remove" area of the infobar. In Windows 7 it is gone and i can't remove a disk during. On USB Sticks it works.

Can someone help?

Regards

Wonko
Save remove? You mean like a removable device? And you can right click on it to do a safe removal?

P.S. That rack is COOL.

I'm not sure that this addresses your issue, but on my system, SATA hard drives show up as removable when the SATA controller is set to AHCI (in the BIOS settings), and the AHCI drivers are installed (from the Intel chipset utility).

Yo, i think that's the fault. It is a Nvidia NForce 7 (GF9400) chipset, all drivers are installed.
I must look in the hardware section in this forum. Thanks..
