I know update files can take up space over time. Im using windows 7 ultimate 64 with all current updates...

Are the size of these files worth deleting?
Are they safe to delete?

just a quick question. Thanks.

What other info could i possibly put? The other stuff i left out? Who cares. =)
The folder called "Download" in C:\windows\Software Distribution acts as a temporary holding place for windows updates, you can safely delete its contents. Depending on the size of the patches MS releases and how long you've let accumulate, its size can run into several hundred MBs. I normally empty it once a month or so.
