What causes Excel 2007 on Windows7 x64 over 5 minutes to save a file?

The file is only 3 megs, and the server has plenty of space. . .

I am asssuming a network issue. . .any other thoughts?

Hello,

The first thing that comes to mind is Microsofts File Validation Add-In. Check to see if this is installed. If it is remove it and see if there is still a problem.

A network issue is a possibility. What Server are you using?
Is it just with Excel documents of all of them?

Check your Anti-Virus to see if real time protection is scanning network locations. This can also cause a problem.
