Saving paswords in IE11

Can someone please tell me why IE11 asks me whether to save passwords and then saves them (when I agree) but for one particular webpage? It simply will not save it; has me baffled. I am using Win 7 Professional.

Hi Tony,
IE performs checks on websites to determine if there safe and then passes the request to save the password, if it doesnt like it, it will not perform the save pop-up.
you can add it to your safe sites list and it should then give you the option.
