Saving to network?

Hi all, I was wanting to save a back up of my complete drive on my other pc using my network....thing is all starts ok, then asks me for a password!!! i haven't set up a password on either pc, there both running windows 7, and I have turned ask for password off on each pc..any ideas on this?

it's asking for network credentials, then user name and password.

Have you tried putting in the userid and password of the other computer? The one you use to log onto it normally?

I'm not certain that sharing through W7 Homegroup could be used in your way. Either that or you may need to do add a mapp drive through your Explorer before hand.

I haven't got a log on or password for either pc...do you think i will need to create one for each pc?

Only a home user, not really any need for a password....nothing to hide from the missus lol
