Saving web-pages using batch file

This is my first post in this forum.
Suppose there is a web page with url :
http://www.somesite.com/pages/1
I can save this page easily using Ctrl+s within a second.
But my question is if there are say,600 web pages starting from
http://www.somesite.com/pages/1 to http://www.somesite.com/pages/600
and I want to save all of them then using Ctrl+s it will take a lot of time.
So is there any way to write a batch script using which I will be able to do
this by double clicking the .bat file.I know batch programming but I can't
figure out how to accomplish this.Can someone please show me the way?

You can use a program like HTTrack to do what you want.

I have seen batch file programmes of such but I have not written one before. The batch file prog saved all the webpages and could be rather big. Everything is saved and took a long time if your broadband is less than 7.2Mbps. If 600 pages that could take an hr or so at 7.2Mbps without the graphics just text. If disconnected. you have to restart again, time consuming and your server may not withstand it. Time out!. Your ISP will put you on their watch list just like mine did.

cyrilhubert is correct, some ISPs frown on pulling that much data from one website or from pulling data so fast for so long. The software that I linked to can be a little tricky to figure out, but it the last time that I used it (years ago) it had a feature that let you limit the speed of the download as well as limit the number of simultaneous connections being made to the server.
