Scattered dreams...GPU not working..

Hello everyone im having a bad issue with my new graphic card.
Bought this morning(nvidia gt 630),plugged it in my motherboard,opened the pc and ta da! my screen would only display my motherboard's logo screen and after a while my monitor turns off....

Never had another GPU plugged in this motherboard before so i didnt need to uninstall some previous drivers..
And the best part comes when i realised i wasnt able to access BIOS with the new GPU plugged in.
I returned the GPU to the store they made sure it was ok and that it synchs with my motherboard.
I've been told that certain motherboards have an option of detecting a Video card before activating the on-board VGA and that i should check it from bios.
Never found that option ...yes i went to peripherials and checked all the option,ive reseted my bios from my motherboard's battery,i've cleaned my Cmos with the jumper which was risky...and after all that i still plugg in the nvidia and im not able to enter bios or move on window's screen...

i know that could be many causes for this problem but if u guys have an extra opinion plz help.

That means you have been using a imbedded GPU. You need to go into BIOS and disable the imbedded Graphics. Not being able to get into BIOS is the strange problem. DEL or F2 is the common method. Take the new card out and see if you can get in BIOS, if you can then disable the internal GPU, F10 to save, turn offf the PC, install the new card and restart.
