Schedule Internet Connection or Reconnect

I sometimes need to shedule a downlaod after midnight. I can schedule for download app to do that, but sometimes my Internet connection has been dropped in the meantime.

How can I schedule a connect or, alternatively, set to auotmatically reconnect of dropped?

It is a PPPoE connection.

Edit: I found the answer for reconnect, but I would still like to know if it is possible to schedule a connect.

Doesn't your PC automatically dial a connection if it needs one? If not you can configure it to do so. (something like "automatically dial this connection" in your connection details)

Then, the scheduled download itself would probably trigger the connection to be established and be OK with that. If you still would like to establish the internet connection before the download is attempted, then you can schedule anything else, like a "ping www.hema.nl" to take place which will trigger your internet connection to establish.

Can't find any setting to connect if needed, only redial if connection dropped. And Windows Help only says that you can use Autodial, but not how to do it!!
