hi
I have a problem oposite to the usual one.

I have a task to hibernate my computer at 8pm
If I hibernate the computer earlier, and turn it on next morning, the task runs and hibernates the computer.

I HAVE NOT selectede the "Run task as soon as posible after a schedule start is missed"

Am I wrong? doesn't this means that if the task is messed, it´s not going to run ?

Alex

Hi aleangelico and welcome to Windows 7 Forums

What happens if you let it hibernate at the scheduled time and then wake it up?

If I do so, it works fine, I mean, the computer starts from hibernation and I can work the whole day, the task doesn't start.
At 8 pm (the trigger time) the computer hibernates.

Also, I was reading that, the missed tasks starts 10 minutes after the computer starts, but in this case, I cant even log in. As soon as the Windows starts, the computer hibernates.

There are no errors in the event viewer or anything, the task just runs as missed even if this check box is not set.

What I'm thinking now is I could delete the task and re create ...
