Solved SCNotification has stopped working error

ok, i have a dell optiplex 3010 Windows 7 64bit that i am setting up fo a user in our company, when i logged on as the local admin(and a domain admin user) i got this message:

SCNotification has stopped working
Windows can check online for a solution to the problem
-Check online for a solution and close the program
-Close the program

I keep closing the program(via the program choice), clicked the red X and even tried to check online for the solution, but the error keeps appearing when i close it out.

Have you guys ever seen this before?

Ok, I have discovered that for this error all you have to do is repair the latest version of your .net install that you have.

This has only been happening on some of windows 7 x64bit machines at my job and they usually have .net 4 on them. So i just pulled an new install file from google and repaired the .net program restarted and presto!

The error never appeared again

in my case i only need to give full access permission to file "C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\config\machine.config" after that the error gone, hope this help. See here SCNotification Has Stopped Working Error

No need to uninstall then re-install the .Net Frame... Just use REPAIR option. I have tried it and made it. Now i do not see this annoying SCNotification error)))
