Hello Folks, I'm a new member and not very technically minded. I have this Scorpion thing and can't uninstal it. Whenever I try it says "The instalation source of this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and you can verify it".
I've ran AVG and an adware killer on it and still can't remove it.

Nup, still there!!! I tried every point there! I've downloaded so many things to try and delete it that it was probably worth keeping!! Thanks anyway, Max, your help was very much appreciated. I don't suppose it's the end of the world, just bloody annoying!!

Do you have multiple browsers ?
This could be an Extension in any one of them and effecting one or all of them,
So please say which browser this issue is happening in or if all browsers are showing it,

It is annoying for sure .. Surprised Revo did not remove it .. Have asked a Security Expert to look at this Post maybe they can find a solution ..

You're too kind to me I use firefox but sometimes game on IE. I can't see any extensions on firefox. I've reset both browsers too. It can be found and "removed" or healed but is still visible in my programs, Max

From what I've seen & read, it is quite a pain to remove. Any chance you can do a system restore to the point before the infection occurred? Might be best to go back 2 or 3 points past the 1st restore point, since some malware embeds itself in the 1st restore point.

Another thing you could try is Norton Power Eraser.

Glad you got it sorted out. At least we know now that Revo get's rid of this PIA
